Never immerse the steriliser in water or any other liquid. After each use pour away any remaining water from the base unit and wipe dry. Do not use bleach, abrasives, anti bacterial materials or scourers to clean the steriliser. Do not use chemically softened water in the steriliser. Do not put the steriliser into the dishwasher. Regularly inspect the steriliser and it's main cable for signs of damage. If the mains cable or the steriliser is found to be damaged, dispose of carefully. This steriliser contains no user serviceable parts. You should descale your steriliser every 4 weeks to ensure it continues to work efficiently, failure to do so may lead to the build up of limescale on the steriliser heater plate which will hinder efficient sterilisation.
Wait at least 3 minutes before attempting to remove the lid to allow the steriliser to cool to prevent burns. Wash your hands thoroughly before touching sterilised items. Remove the lid carefully, there may be hot water and steam in the steriliser. Using the sterilised tongs provided, remove the teats and accessories and re-assemble parts. Once bottles and accessories have been removed from the steriliser they must be assembled immediately or re-sterilised. Do not rinse after sterilising. Allow the steriliser to cool for at least 10 minutes in between each use to allow the thermostat to cool. After each use, pour away any remaining water and wipe dry. This steriliser is suitable for use in the UK and elsewhere in the world where the mains supply voltage is 220V to 240V ac 50/60 Hz. Please check that the voltage rating marked on the rating plate of the steriliser corresponds with your actual voltage supply. Never immerse the steriliser in water. This steriliser can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Ensure that the steriliser is placed on a dry, stable and level surface when in use. Do not obstruct the steam vents during use. Keep the steriliser well away from other objects when in use. Do not place items on the top of the steriliser when in use. Always keep the steriliser and mains cord out of the reach of children. Always disconnect from the mains power socket when not in use. Never use the steriliser without water. Do not use sterilising liquid, sterilising tablets or other chemicals in the steriliser. Never allow items to come into contact with the steriliser heating plate during use, for this reason, do not attempt to sterilise small items that could fall through the holes and directly onto the heating plate. Do not attempt to disassemble the base risk of electric shock. Do not use if the plug, mains cable or steriliser is damaged. Only use the steriliser for sterilising baby bottles and other accessories that are suitable for steam sterilisation.
