Frozen milk can be kept for up to 3 months, once thawed, the milk should be kept refrigerated and consumed within 12 hours. Throw away any leftover milk after a feed, once thawed do not re-freeze milk. Do not boil breast milk. To avoid freezer burn, as much air as possible should be removed from the bag before freezing.
